Cecilia W. Muckenthaler

MUCKENTHALER, Cecilia W, daughter of Antone and Marie Weixelman, born in Louisville, KS on September 15, 1928, died on September 29, 2012. Preceded in death by her husband, George Muckenthaler; brothers, George, Louis, Paul, Dennis, and Don; sisters Rita and Dorothy. Survived by two sons, Stan and wife Sue of Wamego, KS, and John of Kettering, OH; and one daughter, Theresa of Flower Mound, TX; four grandchildren, Angie, Joey, Mary and Katie; siblings, Toni Novelly of Tulsa, OK, Bernie Weixelman of Blytheville, AR, and Jim and Jill Weixelman of Louisville, KS. Cecilia grew up in Louisville, Flush, and Wamego KS. She obtained her Nursing degree at The Saint Mary's Hospital, School of Nursing, Manhattan, KS, and practiced nursing for the next 45 years in Houston, TX, Tulsa, OK, Racine, WI, and Dayton, OH. She married George Muckenthaler October 6, 1951 in Flush, KS. Rosary will be offered on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 9:30am at Emmanuel Catholic Church, 149 Franklin Street, Dayton, OH 45402 with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00am. The family will greet friends following the Mass at the Church. A Mass of Christian Burial and internment will take place in Flush, KS at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald Reagan Library, 40 Presidential Dr., Simi Valley, CA 93065, to The University of Dallas, 1845 E. Northgate Dr., Irving, TX 75062 or to a charity of your choice.
