Celestina Perna

PERNA, Celestina, age 89, of Centerville, OH formerly of Ridgefield, CT passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012. Celestina graduated from New Canaan High School in 1939. She was a member of St. Aloysius Parish from 1922-1970 and always lived her life by the Lord. On March 4, 1943, Celestina married the love of her life, Virginio. They have been married for 69 years and in that time, they have been inseparable. Celestina was a loving woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to cook for them. Preceded in death by her parents, Carlo and Theresa; and brothers, Albert Bianco and Luigi Bianco. She is survived by her loving husband, Virginio; sons, Joseph (Lucy) of Los Angeles, CA and Richard (Merideth) of Washington Township, OH; brother, Theodore Bianco; sisters, Gloria Vitti and Rita Rivera; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Family will greet friends from 11:00am-12:30pm on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held following the visitation at 1:00pm at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering. Burial in David's Cemetery.
