Chad Eric Hamilton

age 22 of Kettering, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2000 at Miami Valley Hospital. He graduated from Cypress Creek High School in Orlando, FL., where he played lacrosse, basketball and football, and was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He was currently attending Sinclair Community College where he was a member of the golf team in 1998. He played defensive back for the Dayton Panthers in 2000. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Charlie Shepherd, 1989; grandmother, Loretta Hamilton, 1998; uncle Michael Hamilton, 1999; and cousins, Dustin Rhodes, 1985; Michael Reynolds, 1986; and Wesley McCoury, 1992. Chad was blessed with 2 mothers and his father: Sheilla Hamilton-Baker and Sheldon of Clayton; Craig and Linda Hamilton of Winter Park, FL; brothers and sisters: Kelly, Gary, Jenny, Michael, and Gabriel; grandparents: Jean Shepherd, Elmer Hamilton, Iris and Ramon Soto; great grandmother, Carmen Garcia; aunts and uncles: Peggy (Wayne) McCoury, Evanda (Howard) Anderson, Sharlie (William) Hassink, Mack Shepherd, Rick (Roberta) Shepherd, Patricia Shepherd, Joy Hamilton, Jerry Hamilton, Debby Soto, and Kim (Dave) Stovall. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Pastor Stan Ballard officiating. Entombment will be at Woodland Mausoleum, Dayton. The family will receive friends from 4-7:00 P.M. on Thursday in the funeral home.
