Chad H. Fornshell

FORNSHELL, Chad H., age 67 of Osprey, FL died on August 20, 2002. He was born in Marion, Indiana on August 24, 1934 and came to Sarasota in 1991 from Kettering, OH. He was a graduate of Indiana University and retired in 1991 from the Kettering City School District where he was Supervisor of Special Education Services. He was selected Ohio's Special Educator of the Year in 1984. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Clara Fornshell; daughters, Jayne Gottfried of Granville, OH, Cheryl Bartlett of Huber Heights, OH, and Michele Chesson of Simi Valley, CA: stepson, David Meskimen of Germantown, OH and stepdaughter, Lori Black of Sarasota, FL; brother Dave of Columbus, OH and stepsister, Nancy of Portland, IN and seven grandchildren; Adam, Brian, Lindsay, Ashley, Jacob, Julia, and Jaden whom he loved and adored. A Memorial Service will be held in Kettering, OH. Saturday, August 31, at 2:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
