Charles D. Conner

CONNER, Charles Donald, "Chuck", age 82, of Centerville, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016. Charles was born to the late William and Anna Mae (nee Sharp) on January 4, 1934 in Dayton, OH. He graduated from Roosevelt H.S. and the University of Dayton with an Electrical Engineering degree. Charles worked for IBM and other companies before joining NCR. Charles worked at NCR in Dayton, OH and Columbia, SC as an Engineering Manager in new product development working primarily on products for the Financial Industry. He retired from NCR in 1994 after 29 years of service. He was an avid sports fan supporting Notre Dame football, OSU football, UD basketball, the Reds and Bengals. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, James Conner and grandson, Kyle Rowe. Charles is survived by his wife of 29 years, Pamela Terzian; children, Cynthia (Michael Kostrey) Conner, Lawrence (Erin) Conner, and Diane (Randolph) Rowe; grandchildren, Colin, Alyssa and Karrisa Conner and Courtney (Craig) Brisson; sister, Geraldine Wasser; brother, Gary (Phyllis) Conner; sister-in-law, Joyce Conner, aunt, Rita Florence and several nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends from 2:30 pm-5:30 pm on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. Centerville, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, Aug 1, 2016 at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave. Centerville, OH. Burial will be held at David's Cemetery.
