Charles Joseph Francis

FRANCIS, Charles Joseph, age 18, of Centerville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, 4 March 2022 in Centerville, Ohio. It is with great sadness that our family morns the passing of our beloved son Charles Joseph Francis. Charles was born in Fort Bragg, NC on August 29, 2003 to Charles and Trinidad Francis. Charles was a Senior at Centerville High School and would have graduated 21 May, 2022. He was in his second year in the Culinary Arts Program at the high school and was selected to be the President of the Program his Senior year (by his peers).

Charles was looking forward to attending Columbus State to study culinary arts. He was also part of the high school Spring track program and played in local soccer and basketball leagues. His passion was the kitchen. Anything food related, he wanted to try to learn. He would share with us tales of what he did in his culinary arts class that day. And not just the successes, but the struggles as well.

Charles is survived by his older sister, Khali, his parents Trinidad and Charles, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in the U.S., Panama, and Denmark.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 15, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at ROUTONG FUNERAL HOME, 81 N MAIN ST, CENTERVILLE.
