Ret. Army, age 84 of Lima, formerly of Kettering, died Wed., Nov. 14, 2001 in Roselawn Manor, Spencerville, Ohio. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Kettering VFW Post #9927 and American Legion Post #598. Charles was a retired Major with the United States Army. Preceded in death by his wife, Lucille (Dudley) on Nov. 2, 1988 and 2 sisters, Alma and Mary. Survived by 4 sons, Charles L. Clark of Algonac, MI, Paul T. Clark of Lima, Richard Clark of Lima and John Clark of Miamisburg; a daughter, Peggy L. Guell of Fond du Lac, WI; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a sister, Katherine Harroll. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M., Saturday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Pastor Colin M. Clark, grandson of Mr. Clark, officiating. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 A.M., Saturday, in the funeral home.
