WOLF, Charles “Ray,” age 93, of Franklin, OH, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023. He was born to the late Clark and Teresa (Beerman) Wolf on June 6, 1930 in Middletown, Ohio.
After high school, Ray proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He met and married Grace Romero and returned to their home in Middletown, Ohio. After serving, he worked at Dayton Power & Light Company for over 40 years until his retirement. In his free time, Ray loved to golf, play tennis, go camping, and cross stitch. He would travel with his beautiful wife, Grace, in their motorhome, but his favorite places to travel were Florida and Texas. Ray was very involved with his family, and he especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Ray will be dearly missed by his family.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Grace; and 4 brothers, Bill, Clark, Benny and Larry. Ray is survived by his children, Chuck (Linda) Wolf, Dave (Joanne Skinner) Wolf, and Mitch (Chris) Wolf; grandchildren, Val (Steve) Adams, Buck (Tracy Flanders), Lauren (Matthew) Hartwig, Zach (Molly), and Jeremiah (Taylor); David, Krista (Pat) Radish, Lee (Rachel), Nathan (Melissa), Cole, Drew (Emily Ausborn), great-grandchildren, Bryce (Selina Najera), Brendon (Mikayla), Ashley (Kyle Barber), Greyson, Harper, Grace, Hattie, Nicholas, Lily, Cade, Lane (due 12/11/23), Alexis, Olivia, Dawson, and Alana; and great-great-grandchildren, Brailynn and Kinleigh, Oliver (due 3/14/2024) and very special friend Jerry Margerum.
