Dobkowski, Charlotte A., age 90, of Beavercreek, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Charlotte was born on July 22, 1924 in Cleveland, OH to the late Adam and Stephanie Wojtowicz. She graduated in 1942 from Jane Addams High School in Cleveland, OH.
Charlotte was a first generation Polish-American. She loved spending time with her family and was known for her wonderful work as a seamstress.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Mack Dobkowski; her parents; brothers, Sigmund and Henry Wojtowicz and sister, Bernice Rudnicki. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Dick) Ferguson of Beavercreek; sons, Mark (Amy) Ferguson of Oakwood, David (Katie) Ferguson of Los Angeles and A.J. Ferguson of Dayton; great-grandchildren, Emma and William; brother, Edward (Joan) Wojtowicz; brother-in-law, Peter (Betty) Dobkowski; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend its deepest gratitude to the staff at Trinity Community of Beavercreek and to Sharon Porter of Comfort Keepers for all the wonderful care they gave Charlotte.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Dr. Kettering. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Charlotte will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland, OH.
