BAHL, Charlotte E., (Rogge), age 91, of Monroe, OH (formerly of Oakwood) passed away Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was a member of Bellbrook Presbyterian Church. Charlotte was a 1933 graduate of Oakwood High School and attended Denison University. Charlotte was a leader for the Brownies and Girl Scouts, and was a “Tri Delt” at Denison. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross and Hospice of Dayton. Prior to getting married, Charlotte worked as a dental hygienist. Her family owned the Peerless Pantry, now known as the Peerless Mill Inn. Charlotte was an accountant with Dayton Wire Wheel, a family owned business. Charlotte was preceded in death by her infant son, Stephen and her husband, Herbert, in 2003. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Sharon Gilmore and Leslie (Frank) Luhn; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave. and Irving Ave. The Rev. Theresa Wood will be officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
