Cheryl Patterson

PATTERSON, Cheryl, age 64, of Centerville, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. Cheryl was born to the late Harold and Florence Behner (nee Peet) on June 14, 1949 in Oberlin, OH. She was in the first class to graduate from the Kettering College of Medicine in 1969 and worked in New Orleans, LA at Tulane University, as a Critical Care Nurse at KMC and in Prosthetics at the VA. Cheryl prided herself in putting her patients first. She had a heart of gold and had a love for photography, clothing, genealogy and her garden. Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her very good friend, Dr. Joseph Camillus; sisters, Susan Picken of Cleveland, OH and Bonnie Stumpf of New Orleans, Louisiana; and her nieces and nephew, Dawn Picken and Fiona, Findley, of New Zealand, and Heather Picken of Seattle, Washington. Family will greet friends from 4:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, 2300 Smithville Rd. Dayton, OH 45420. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Immaculate Conception Parish.
