Cheryl Rae Cassabon

CASSABON, Cheryl, age 62, of Centerville, formerly of White Lake, MI passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2012. Born on April 16, 1950 in Pontiac, MI to Raymond and Jacquelin Gibbard. Cheryl graduated from Avondale High School. She worked in the Mortgage Department for both National City Bank and Liberty Savings Bank. Cheryl was a selfless, family oriented woman who loved spending time with family and friends. She loved knitting, nature and pets especially her cats and dog. She took many long trips with her family to destinations including Hawaii, Myrtle Beach, and various Michigan locations with a special fondness for Frankenmuth, MI. Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Joe; sons, Brian and Dan (Rebekka) Cassabon; her mother and father; brothers, Dave and Roger Gibbard; sisters, Debbie (Ken) Jacobs and Jan (Greg Duncan) Gibbard; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends from 4:00-6:00pm on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 81 N. Main Street, Centerville. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, June 11, 2012 also at the funeral home.
