Christine D. Fowler

FOWLER, Christine "Tina", age 87, of Centerville passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013. She was born in Memphis, TN on August 21, 1925 to the late Carter and Louise Dozier. Tina worked for Dorothy Lane Market for 17 years until her retirement. She was a past member of P. Buckley Moss Society; Hallmark Collectors Club. Tina loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and was known for her legendary cooking. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Tina is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joseph Fowler, Sr., in 1987 and son-in-law, Roger Ekstrom, in 2005. She is survived by her children, Suzy Ekstrom of Rockford, IL, Joe (Suzi) Fowler, Jr. of Dayton, OH, Carole Fowler of Kettering, OH, Danny (Diane) Fowler of Oakwood, OH, Chris (Beth) Fowler of Centerville, OH, and David (Amy) Fowler of Romeoville, IL; grandchildren, John (Erica), Curtis, Carter, Sam, Joey, Holden, Sydney, Aimee, and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Emma; sister, Kati McGoldrick of Memphis, TN; niece, Patti; nephews, Buddy and Johnny; faithful companion, Oscar the dog, and dear friends Jean and Georgia. Family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main Street, Centerville. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, June 21, 2013, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in David's Cemetery.
