Christine K. Bernard

BERNARD, Christine K. "nee Knoth", age 100, a resident of Kettering for over 60 years, passed away on March 24, 2012 at The Village on the Isle Retirement Community in Venice, FL where she had resided for the past 11 years. Christine retired from National City Bank, Hill & Dale Branch in 1977 where she worked as a teller. She was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church and loved to garden, knit, and play cards. Preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bernard; brothers, John, Henry, and Ed; sisters, Loretta, Anna Marie, Alvina, and Matilda. She is survived by her son, Terry Bernard; grandchildren, Matthew and Jonathan Bernard; and great-grandchildren, Harry, Abby, and Cooper Bernard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave., Kettering. The family will greet friends one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be held in David's Cemetery.
