Christopher Eugene Henn

April 21, 1954 — August 27, 2020

HENN, Christopher Eugene, age 66 of Kettering, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020. Chris was born April 21, 1954 in Dayton to Eugene and Barbara (Abare) Henn.

A graduate of Fairmont West High School in 1972, he made a career out of working in the tool and die industry as a foreman. Chris had a passion for pyrotechnics, working for Rozzi Fireworks. He organized fireworks displays for the Dayton area, most notably Delco Park’s July 4th celebration, which he managed and directed for nearly 20 years.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Henn. Chris is survived by his mother, Barbara Henn; his loving wife of 46 years, Marina; children, Amy (John) Blair, Emily (Corey) Davis, Katie (Josh) Hensley, and Brittany (Courtney Keller) Henn; seven grandchildren, Caitlin, CJ, Maddie, Elle, Issac, Drew, and Allie; sisters Cindy (John) Henneck, and Connie (Mark) Massa, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am Thursday, September 10 at St. Charles Borromeo, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering. A link to the live streamed service can be found on Christopher's Tribute Wall.
