Cilda Joyce Martinez

MARTINEZ, Cilda "Cil" Joyce, age 86, of Centerville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. Cil was born on September 18, 1929 in Utica, NY to the late Angelo and Ann (nee Rizzo) LaRosa. She graduated from Proctor H.S. in Utica, NY in 1947. In 1955, she went overseas and worked as an Administrative assistant to the 49th Air Base Group Commander at Misawa, Japan. Cil was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed spending time in her garden and helping others in any way she could. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Conard Martinez, Jr. Cil is survived by her sons, Mark and David Martinez of Centerville, OH; sisters, Ann Marie LaRosa and Rosalie Frey of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. Centerville, OH. Family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Order of Deadalians Flight-9 scholarship fund, Box 33564 Bldg. 16 Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433.
