Clara "Helen" Kemp

KEMP, C. Helen, age 80, of Centerville, formerly of Cincinnati passed away on Friday, November 25, 2011. She was a member of St. Peter and St. Paul United Church of Christ in Cincinnati. Helen was a graduate of University of Cincinnati and later went on to her career as a nurse where she worked at the City of Cincinnati Health Department as a Nurse Administrator. She was a member of the Eastern Star and also participated in many of the Shriner Temple's activities. Helen was always a loving and devoted wife to her best friend, Charles, and they always enjoyed spending quality time with their family. She enjoyed teaching her children and grandchildren all of their life lessons and thought education was very important. Helen will always be remembered as a strong willed, selfless woman who loved caring for others. Preceded in death by Andrew Kemp. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Charles R. Kemp; children, Cynthia (Paul) Cole, Charles R. (Renee) Kemp Jr., and Stephen (Barbara) Kemp; grandchildren, Laura (Michael) Monahan, Kyle Kemp, Melissa Kemp, Tyler Kemp, Kevin Kemp, Tony Wenclewicz, Lisa Ganious, Steve (Myshia) Wenclewicz, and Jen (Ryan) Livesay; and brothers, Walter Coomer and Charles (Ruth) Coomer. The family would like to especially thank the staff at Bethany Lutheran Village, West Chester Hospital, and The Chop House. Family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, December 2, 2011 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, December 3, 2011 also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at David's Cemetery.
