Cleatus Edward Sanders

SANDERS, Cleatus Edward Sandy, passed away on February 13, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 9, 1951 to James W. and Flora (Wuest) Sanders in Tuscumbia, MO. Sandy graduated from Eldon High School in Eldon, MO. Upon graduation, he joined the U.S. Air Force where he retired in 1993 with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He then worked and retired after 21 years with the Montgomery County Engineering Department. Sandy was a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church. He was a dog lover of his 4 schnauzers. Sandy was a big time sports fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs. An avid golfer having gotten a hole in one. He was a beloved brother, uncle and friend to many. Preceeded in death by his parents and brother, James H. Sanders. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Rosalyn, 2 nephews, John (Sherri) and Victor (Sharlette) Sanders; great-niece and great-nephews. Family will greet friends from 5:00pm-6:00pm on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH with a memorial service to follow at the funeral home at 6:00pm. A private burial will be held at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Sandy to a charity of your choice.
