Clyde Heddings

HEDDINGS, Clyde Richard, USAF Major, Ret., age 64, of Centerville, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017. He was born on July 30, 1953 in Milton, PA and graduated from Coral Shores High School in Plantation, FL in 1971. Clyde then enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving 16 years before becoming an Officer. He earned a Bachelors' Degree from Wright State University School of Engineering, and went on to obtain his Masters' Degree in Electronics from the Air Force Institute of Technology. Clyde retired from Active Duty in 2002 after 31 years of exemplary service in the United States Air Force, stationed in Vietnam, Africa, and the United States. He returned as a Civilian employee at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, serving as Branch Chief of Information Technology at the Air Force Research Lab/RYOD. Clyde is survived by his wife, Becky Heddings; children, Andrea (Erik) Englund, Grant Heddings, and Andrew and Stephen Ziehler; 12 grandchildren; Brother Charlie; mother Blanche (John) Forsburg and mother-in-law, Mary Leakas.
