Clyde N. Kress

KRESS, Clyde N. Age 83, of Dayton formerly of Sardinia, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center.

Clyde graduated with the Sardinia High School class of 1954, and then furthered his education at the University of Cincinnati, where he Majored in Accounting and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

He served in the Army National Guard and Air Force Reserves, was a member of the Beavercreek Kiwanis Club, Dayton Presidents Club, Gospel Lighthouse Church of Tipp City, American Legion Post 598 in Kettering, and the Christ United Methodist Church in Kettering.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Elsie Kress; sisters, Mary Bowker and Flora Maul; and brothers, George Kress, Howard Kress, and Byron Kress. He is survived by his children, Karla Parsons and Clyde Kress; grandchildren, Jeromy Hawk, Kaylee Parsons, and Jessica Parsons; 9 nieces and nephews; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, KETTERING with Brian Bennett officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Rd., Kettering, Ohio 45429.
