MILLER, Clyde "Ronnie", age 72 of Kettering, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010. Ronnie graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in 1955 and attended the University of Dayton. He married his high school sweetheart, Marilou Kain, in 1957 and began working as a tool & die designer for various companies ultimately ending up at Delco Moraine. Ronnie retired after 21 years of service and to this day his co-workers claim, "no one could hold a pencil to Ronnie when it came to designing tools." His meticulous nature served him well in both his job and his hobbies. Ronnie enjoyed woodworking and created beautiful furniture and birdhouses for his family and friends. In addition, he loved taking care of his yard and the Miller's were two-time winners of the Kettering Neighborhood Beautiful Award. He was a dedicated family man who doted on his granddaughter, loved watching his Browns on TV and had a wonderful sense of humor. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Marilou; daughter, Jill Wallace and her husband Scott; granddaughter, Courtney Wallace; sister, Jean Comer; and numerous relatives. The family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00PM on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. at Woodman, Kettering and the funeral service will follow, beginning at 7:00PM.
