Constance Miller Bauer

February 20, 1941 — September 9, 2012

BAUER, Constance "Coni" La Tourette, age 71, of Kettering, died September 9, 2012 at Lincoln Park Manor. Coni died peacefully in her sleep, following an extended illness. She was a graduate of Dayton Co-Op High School, worked at NCR, Delco Moraine, and briefly at Routsong Funeral Home and also was active in the South Montgomery County Liberty Group. Coni is survived by her mother, Florence "nee Browne" Bowlby of Kettering, four aunts, Barbara Dillon of Scottsdale, AZ, Betsy Huff of Kettering, Claire Bohachek of Oakwood, and Natalie Hime of Rockford, IL, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, James L. Miller, and her ex-husband, Larry Bauer. Coni's long standing interest in animals was evidenced by her fostering of cats for SICSA, grooming of dogs, and the love and care given to her own horse, dogs, and cats. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Woodland Mausoleum, 118 Woodland Avenue, Dayton. In memory of Coni, donations may be made to the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center, 6790 Webster St., Dayton, OH 45414.
