age 72, died Jan. 26, 2001 at Hospice of Dayton. Craig was a retired engineer from AFLC at W.P.A.F.B. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Charis (Taylor); 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Carlo McGinnis, Jane and James Cote of Dayton, Ann and Andrew Cook of Grosse Point, MI. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; Ann, Claire, Craig, Marie and Jane McGinnis, Elizabeth Cote, Daniel, Robin and William Cook, and a sister and brother-in-law, Lyn and Haydon Grubbs of Shalimar, FL. Craig was born in Orange, N.J., to Phoebe (Craig) and Noah Donald Gridley. He graduated from Montclair (N.J.) High School, the U.S. Military Academy Preparatory School, Newburgh, N.Y.; the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y., and received a master's degree from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Dayton, OH. Craig was a long-time member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, a member of the Dayton Country Club and had served as a president of the West Point Society of Dayton.
