Curtis Allen Barr

BARR, Curtis Allen, age 64, of Washington Twp. passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital. Curtis attended SouthBrook Christian Church, leader of SouthBrook’s Bible study group and a leader of the Christian Service Brigade. He was a member of the Dayton Ski Club, KTC/ Quail Tennis Club, Wright State SCUBA and DTMA. Curtis was the owner of High Precision Graphics, former owner of Barr Machine and Tool Inc. and a former SCUBA instructor. He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Barr. Curtis is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Jenny; his beloved dog, “Rez Kacer”; daughters, Pam (Bruce) Brown of Mesa, AZ and Kellie (Tony) Santos of Clarksville, TN; mother, Rosemary of Satsuma, FL; grandchildren, Bryan (Brittany), Kevin, and Karen Brown and Tony Santos; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Savannah Brown; brothers, Ronald (Melissa) of Miamisburg, OH, James (Cynthia) of Vandalia, OH, Thomas (Sandy) of Satsuma, Fl, Clark (Diane) of Sugarcreek, OH and Jerry of Wixon, MI; step-children, Anna (Don) Smith of Kettering, OH and Dan (Nikki) Thacker of Louisville, KY; step-grandchildren, Stephen and Nancie Smith, Jack and Anderson Thacker and numerous nieces, nephews, family and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 2, 2007 at the Routsong Funeral Home 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with good friend Pastor Chuck Healy Jr. officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4:00 PM at the funeral home.
