PARSONS, Cynthia Dwyer, a beloved member of the community, passed away on February 12, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton, at the age of 51. She was born to proud parents Jack and Gail Dwyer on July 22, 1972 in Pella, Iowa.
 
 Cynthia's passion for education led her to pursue a Bachelor's degree in mathematics from Wright State University and later, a Master's degree in education from the University of Dayton. She embarked on her teaching career, inspiring countless students as an Advanced Mathematics teacher at Dayton Public Schools and Bethel High School. Cynthia's dedication to her profession left an indelible impact on the lives she touched.
 
 Outside of the classroom, Cynthia found joy in various artistic pursuits. She delighted children as CyndiDee the Clown and was known for her talent in creating enchanting balloon art. Moreover, Cynthia was an active member of the World Clown Association, Gem City Chorus, and the Dayton Vineyard Church. She shared her beautiful voice with others through her participation on the church worship team. Cynthia was also a proud supporter of Compassion International, demonstrating her generous and compassionate spirit.
 
 In her free time, Cynthia enjoyed engaging in activities such as knitting, singing, walking, and running half marathons. She had a deep appreciation for history and took part in Revolutionary War reenactments. During the holiday season, Cynthia spread joy as Mrs. Claus, along with her husband as Santa making Christmas memorable and magical for all.
 
 Cynthia's zest for life was evident in her love for travel. She journeyed near and far alongside her devoted husband, Jason. Their adventures were made complete with the constant companionship of their beloved dogs Izzy, rocky, and Chloe. Cynthia cherished every moment spent exploring new places and creating cherished memories with her partner.
 
 Cynthia will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Jason Parsons; her mother, Gail Darner, and stepfather, Gary Darner; her father, Jack Dwyer, and stepmother, Claire Dwyer; her brother, David (Jenn) Dwyer; Mother in law, Gayle Parsons; as well as her step-sisters, Stacy (Neal) Baumeyer and Amy (Mike) Delaplain.
 
To honor Cynthia's life, a memorial service will be at Routsong Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (2100 E Stroop Rd) visitation will be held Saturday February 24th from 10am until 12pm, Memorial service will Be Saturday February 24th at noon. Friends and family will gather to celebrate her life, sharing stories and memories that will forever keep her spirit alive. Special thank you to the staff at Hospice of Dayton
 
 It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to Cynthia, but her legacy of passion, kindness, and love for life will continue to inspire us all. May she rest in eternal peace.
