FINCH, Dana Gene, age 56, formerly of Waynesville, OH, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016.
He was a 1977 Centerville High School graduate where he starred in many of the theatre productions as well as an active member of the Kenley Players at Memorial Hall in Dayton, OH. His interest in the theatre continued at Wright State University. He retired from General Motors Truck and Bus after 30 years.
He enjoyed attending music concerts, festivals, spending time with his cats Buddy and Cleo, and especially enjoyed long country rides in his 1988 Pontiac Fiero. He was an avid collector of comic books, movie and music memorabilia, and was a passionate fan of the rock group, Kiss.
He was preceded in death by his three felines, Lucky, Lady, and Sugar. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 25 years, Patricia Ann; his devoted and cherished parents, Doris and Delmar Finch; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and a multitude of lifelong friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am-1:00pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with a service to follow at 1:00pm. He will be inurned in a private ceremony at a later date at David's Cemetery in Kettering, OH.
If desired, friends may make memorial contributions to their local animal shelter or rescue.
