Daniel Cyprych

age 73, of Kettering, passed away Monday, March 24, 2003. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1947 until his retirement in 1967. Daniel also retired as Security Manager for Rike's Department Store. He was a member of Michael L. Finnell #711 F&AM and the F.O.P. State Lodge of Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents, Adalbert and Catherine (Zyks) Cyprych and a half-brother, Joseph Surdyk. Survived by his dog and friend, Buddy; 3 children, Deb Cyprych of Cincinnati, Kris Cyprych and wife, Sandy of Dayton and Jennifer Cyprych of Kettering; 6 grandchildren, Jeremy Cyprych, Amanda Pinkston, Jessica Barnhill, Danny Barnhill, Brandon Cyprych and Karlee Cyprych; 1 great grandson, Eli Williams; 2 sisters, Betty Shuty and Dolores Becker, both of Pittsburgh, PA; 1 brother, Chet Cyprych of Milpitas, CA; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with Rev. Ward Tilton officiating. The family will greet friends in the funeral home from 1 - 3:00 PM prior to the service.
