MULLIGAN, Daniel F, ''Dan'', age 75, of Kettering, Ohio for 34 years, died Saturday, April 27, 2002 at home with his family. Born the son of James and Bridget (Henry) Mulligan of New York City on August 10, 1926. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Bridget Mulligan, infant daughter, Margaret (Peggy), and brothers, James, Herbert, Thomas, and John. Survivors include Dan's wife of 40 years, Wendi; three daughters, Danielle Mulligan of Kettering, OH; Michelle (husband Scott) Barber of Washington Twp, OH and Maria (husband Chad) Cruset of Xenia,OH, and brother and sisters-in-law; Peter and Marge Mulligan of Staten Island, New York, and Dorothea Mulligan (widow of James), of Dayton, OH. He was the proud grandfather of Amy Steininger, Nicole Ledbetter, Colt and Morgan Cruset, and Blaine and Cameron Barber. Dan was a member of Church of the Ascension. An Army veteran of World War II, he served in the military police. Dan received his BA in Accounting from Pace University in New York City, and his CPA from the University of Illinois in Chicago. He traveled nationally, as well as internationally, as an internal auditor manager for Dayco Corporation, a Fortune 500, located in Dayton, OH before retiring in 1989. Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Tuesday, April 30 at 11:00 AM, at Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering, OH. Family will greet friends from 10-11:00 AM at the church. Burial at a later date. A special thanks to the Oncology staff at Miami Valley Hospital and to the staff at Hospice of Dayton. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made in memory of Dan Mulligan to St. Vincent Hotel, PO Box 732, Dayton, OH 45402-9689, or the Salvation Army, 138 S.
