Daniel Roy Steininger

STEININGER, Daniel R., age 62, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 surrounded by his family. Daniel was born on October 10, 1955 to Herbert W. & Catherine (Colvin) Steininger in Dayton. He graduated from Fairmont West High School in 1973 and proudly served in the United States Navy for three years. Daniel lived life his way and loved bike riding, reading, and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Daniel is survived by his parents; siblings, Judy Steininger, Jane (Ron) Marcello, Patricia Hocfbaum, Michael (Becky) Steininger, Edward (Carol) Steininger, and numerous nieces & nephews. The family would like to thank Trinity of Beavercreek and Hospice of the Miami Valley nursing staff for their kind and generous care. A visitation will take place from 1-2:00pm on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 901 E Stroop Rd, Kettering, 45429, with a Celebration of Life to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley, 46 N Detroit St # B, Xenia, OH 45385 or the K.I.N.D. program, 2338 E. Fifth Street, Dayton OH 45403.
