Danita Kooyman

KOOYMAN, Danita Marie, 51, of Jamestown Ohio, passed away at Soin Medical Center on October 11, 2017 after a four year battle with cancer. Danita was born on September 4, 1966 to Dan Karpuk and Juanita Schuyler in Duluth, MN. She graduated from Hampton high school in Virginia Beach, VA. Danita retired as the Director of Marketing for Home Instead Senior Care in 2015. She was preceded in death by her Chemo Buddies, Moose and Tootsie Kooyman. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Kris Kooyman; her parents, Dan (Chong) Karpuk, Juanita (Dennis) Schuyler; her 2 children, Andrew (Heather) Karpuk, Matthew (Emily) Williams; siblings, Janene (Jeff) Barlow, Jennifer (John) St. Germain, Dan Schuyler, Dawnya Schuyler, Lynn Schuyler, Diane Sleight, Terry Wong, Kim Karpuk; grandchildren, Alexander Williams, Hazel Karpuk; nieces and nephews, Brent LaRose, Macie LaRose, Dorian Soriano, Carmine Soriano, Josh Compo, Jordon Compo, Sedona Compo, and Adrianna Compo. The family will be greeting friends on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 1:30-5:30pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, Kettering. A private service will be held for the family.
