Darold Edward Engebretson

ENGEBRETSON, Darold E., age 76, of Kettering passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009 at his home. He was a graduate of the Lutheran Theological Seminary and the University of Hawaii. Darold was a former Lutheran Minister and later served as the Director of Psychological Services in the School of Professional Psychology at Wright State University and also an accomplished author. He was a member of the Sons of Norway, the Lutheran Brotherhood and Custer Society. Darold was preceded in death by his parents, Haans and Clarissa Engebretson. He is survived by his son, Ken (Trisha) Engebretson; daughter, Karen (Dan) Kawsky; sister, Elaine Pallisgaard; grandchildren, Christine, Lee and Amy; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at David's Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3-4:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with funeral services following at 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
