David "Larry" Wilson Sr.

WILSON SR., David “Larry”, age 85, of Centerville, OH, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023. Larry was born on January 13, 1938, to the late Roscoe and Jessamine Wilson in Centerville, OH. He was proud to be a lifelong Centerville resident as he also graduated from Centerville high school, class of 1956. After his graduation Larry served his country in the Air National Guard from 1956-1968. In 1958 he became the owner/operator of Wilson Concrete Products. During his career he served as President of the Ohio Concrete Masonry Association, and on the board of the National Concrete Masonry Association. After his “retirement” he remained in the industry until December 2022. In his free time Larry liked to stay active and had many hobbies, including, flying small engine aircraft, traveling around the world, building model trains and airplanes, golfing with friends, but most of all he cherished the time spent with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Larry is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Wilson; and daughter-in-law, Amy Wilson.

He is survived by his longtime significant other, Phyllis Lakins; children, Karen (Dr. Michael) Ewald, Carol Evans, David Wilson Jr., Linda (Dave) Litteral; grandchildren, Carl (Kallie) Ewald, Caleb Ewald, Tara Gelhaus, Andrew (Rachel) Evans, Claire (Brian Mulcahy) Ewald; great-grandchildren, Caiden Ewald, Carter Ewald, Jackson Ewald, Madilynn Ewald, Daniel Ewald, Jacob Evans, and Joseph Evans; sister, Darlene Wilson and several nieces and nephews.
