KALTER, David Lee, age 52, of Kettering, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013. He was born on July 11, 1961 in Dayton to Jack and Patricia (Fee) Kalter.
David graduated from Fairmont East High School and worked under various organizations as a tool maker. He was known internationally as an amateur radio operator and volunteered for the Dayton Amateur Radio Association. David was a devoted father and friend.
He is preceded in death by his mother, brother, Dennis Kalter and sisters, Kathleen Steck and Jackie McManus. David is survived by his loving companion, Lynn Schaffer; children, David James Kalter, Michael David Kalter and Courtney Moore; 2 grandchildren, Kristian and Kaleb; father; siblings, Michael (Linda) Kalter and Patty Ferree; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends from 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Monday, November 25, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville.
