David Meeker

MEEKER, David Lingler age 89, of Kettering passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. David was a member of the Fairmont Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge #147 and the Antioch Shrine and past President of Miami Valley Section of Plastics Engineers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet and his brother, Robert Meeker. He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Meeker of Oxford, OH and Sally Meeker of Ada, MI; son, David (Linda) Meeker of Rapid City, MI; 4 grandchildren, Dianne (Bill) Smiewec, David and Douglas (Trish) Hildebrand, and Jennifer (Chris) Bridges; 5 great-grandsons, William D. and Jonathan Hildebrand, Garrett, Cooper and Zachary Bridges; sister, Elizabeth (Torben) Nielsen of CA and brother, Jacque Meeker of PA and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 6:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Private burial at David’s Cemetery. Family will greet friends after the service at the funeral home. We’ll remember our dad’s love of sailing, swimming, tennis, flowers, dogs, and all of nature. He was an incredibly generous person with his time and bountiful energy.
