Deann Kathryn Gau

GAU, DeAnn Kathryn, age 74 of Oakwood, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at her home in Perdido Beach, AL. DeAnn graduated from Centerville High School in 1956. She attended Bowling Green State Univ and Wilmington College. She worked as an Insurance Underwriter for Dayton Insurance Company and later worked at NCR doing inside sales. DeAnn was a charter member of Far Hills, now Belmont Chapter OES. She loved to travel and collected music boxes. She and her husband shared many happy times at their home on Monteray in Oakwood, their Cabin in SE Ohio and their retirement cottage in Alabama. DeAnn is survived by her husband of 34 years, Norman Gau; her brother, Donald (Carolyn) Kindle, of Cincinnati; brother and sister in law, Edward and Cynthia Gau of Centerville; and 2 nephews. The family will greet friends on Friday, December 9, 2011 from Noon to 1:00pm at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E Stroop Rd, Kettering, OH. Funeral service will begin at 1:00pm. Burial to follow in Willow View Cemetery, Dayton.
