Delores Patricia Reid

REID, Delores P., (nee McDonald) age 67, of Mesquite, TX, formerly of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2003. Delores was a graduate of Dixie High School, New Lebanon, and was team manager of the women’s basketball team. She worked in property management and the restaurant industry. Delores is preceded in death by her second husband, Austell Reid. Survived by her daughter, Valerie Wynn of Mesquite, TX; 3 sons, Jeff and James Blevins of Mesquite, TX and Johnnie (Debbie) Blevins of Dallas, TX; 2 grandchildren, Daniel Davidson and Brittany Wynn; 1 great grandchild, Christian Davidson; brothers, Jack, Orville and Gregory McDonald; aunt, Helena Welcelean; loving uncle, Joe Posci; loving cousin, who was like a sister, Shirley Young; and numerous nieces and nephews. Delores was not only a loving mother, but a comforter, guardian and abundant with hope. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 9, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E.
