Dennis Clarence Harden

HARDEN, Dennis Clarence, age 72, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2004. He was a graduate of Fay High School (OK) and Wichita College of Business (KS). Following his service in the Korean War, Dennis was employed by Cessna Aircraft Co. until 1957. He later graduated from the Ohio Assn. of Realtors Institute. Dennis established his own firm, Harden and Assoc. Realty, a brokerage, landlord, and investor business. He was an avid sports fan and loved music, reading, and traveling and was passionate about God and country. Preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Carlie Harden; brother, Leonard Harden; sister, Esta Harden; 2 brothers-in-law, Jasper McWhorter and Kenneth McWhorter. Survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Elizabeth; 2 brothers, Darell Harden and Wayne Harden; 2 sisters, Velva Stein and Gloria McPherren; brother-in-law, Bruce McWhorter; and sister-in-law, Majorie Murray. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. The family will greet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
