Derek Curtis Whitehead

WHITEHEAD, Derek Curtis, age 29, of Waynesville, OH, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015. He was born to Curtis Whitehead and Virginia (nee Gray) Cella on December 11, 1985 in Cape Girardeau, MO. Derek was extremely smart, funny, charming and had a passion for working out and cooking. Above all, he loved his family and enjoyed many family vacations over the years. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Cella; step-father, Joseph Cella; father, Curtis Whitehead; sister, Jaime (Junior) Castle; brothers, Alex Whitehead and Samuel Cella; nephew, Landon; niece, Maddyn; and many other family and friends. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main Street, Centerville. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am the following morning also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at David's Cemetery.
