Desra Norval Herbst

HERBST, Desra N., age 82 of Kettering, died Thursday, August 17, 2000. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was employed with NCR for 34 years. Preceded in death by his wife, Ida Mae Herbst in 1995. Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Naomi and Russell Anger of Port St. Lucie, FL; a granddaughter, Cathy (Dennis) Hansard of Atlanta, GA; great grandson, Jake; a daughter and son-in-law, Lillian and Delbert Woods of Webster, KY; a granddaughter, Suzanna (Eddie) Hardesty of Guston, KY; a great granddaughter, Shannon; a granddaughter, Jane (Tony) Rone of Webster, KY; a great grandson, Delbert; a great granddaughter, Crystal; a grandson, Del (Laura) Woods of Custer; a great granddaughter, Julianne; a great grandson, Timothy; a son and daughter-in-law, Desi and Diane Herbst of Kettering; a grandson, James (Ioulia) Herbst of Berkeley, CA; a grandson, Jeff (Karon) Herbst of Rosenberg, TX; great grandson, J.P.; great grandson, Aaron; grandson, Jon (Julie) Herbst of Columbus; great grandson, Jack; and special family members, Erin Stauffer and Brett (Elizabeth) Stauffer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, Aug. 26 in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. William Youngkin officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 A.M. on Saturday in the funeral home. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. The family and friends will have a reception at David's United Church of Christ, 170 W. Davids Rd. following the burial.
