Diana Bonen

BONEN, Diana, age 67, of Washington Twp., formerly of Marion, OH, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021. One of ten children, Diana was born September 11, 1953 in Galion, OH to John and Pearl (Wheatcraft) Bonen. A graduate of Galion High School and attended The Ohio State Univeristy. Diana was known for her kindness and devotion to family, friends, and animals. She had a witty sense of humor and a deep inner strength. Diana's chief interest in life was spending time with her Son and Grandchildren. A very religious woman, she was firm in her faith.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Bonnie Bonen, Dorothy Barnett, Evelyn Bonen; and brother, John Bonen. She is survived by her son, Joshua (Elizabeth) Bonen; grandchildren, Ava and Eleanor Bonen; siblings, Joan Milbery, Doris Ambuehl, Marjorie Gregory, Elizabeth Heslep, Norma Bonen, George Bonen; and beloved cat, Swan. The family would like to extend a special thank you to friends, family, and Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton for their care and support of Diana.

Family will greet friends from 11:00am-1:00pm Saturday, May 15, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., with Funeral Services starting at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
