Beloved wife and mother, Diane Coyle passed away peacefully on October 4th, at the age of 91.
She resided in Centerville Ohio, where she had made her home for over fifty years. Diane developed a successful career as artist and teacher. Her preferred medium was watercolor, with a special passion for florals and landscapes. She leaves behind her husband of 71 years, Jack Coyle, two sons (Michael and Patrick), a daughter (Linda), six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Diane was born in Bothell, Washington, graduated from Bothell High School in 1951 and, after she raised her family, earned a Degree in Art from Sinclair Community College. Subsequently she taught Art at Sinclair for 33 years. She is past President of the Dayton Society of Painters and Sculptors as well as of the Tri-Art Club, and over the years won numerous awards and commendations across the Midwest.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 10, from 1:00-2:00 PM, at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Dayton Woman’s Club.
