CRETCHER, Donald B., “Don” age 86, of Centerville passed away, Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. Don graduated from Union City High School in Union City, IN, attended the University of Dayton and was a member of the VFW Post 8312 in Beavercreek. Don retired from NCR after 25 years of service. After retirement he worked as a Tour Guide for AAA. He loved to watch UD basketball and football and enjoyed square dancing, ballroom dance, travel and riding his bike. Don was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Alice Cretcher in 1991 and sister, Adria. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Regina P. Cretcher; 4 sons, Charles Michael , Gary Steven, James Robert, and David Alan Cretcher; 4 step-daughters, Sue (Pierce) Zickefoose, Barbara (Pierce) Magill, Debbie (Pierce) Muntz and Kathy (Pierce) Berry; 2 stepsons, Jim and Robert Pierce; 3 brothers, Lawrence, Fuller and Paul Cretcher; and sister, Doris Glick. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, May 18, 2006 with a one hour visitation at the church prior to the mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, with Father Thomas Schmidt officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. In memory of Don, contributions may be made to the Ohio Parkinson Disease Association, SW Region, 325 N. Third St. Fairborn, OH 45324-4959 or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
