Donald B. Young

age 60, of Kettering, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2000, at his residence. Born March 18, 1940, in Dayton OH. Son of Lester and Thelma Young, also of Kettering. Donald was a retiree of The Duriron Company, where he was employed 35 years and was employed with Beta Industries for the past 5 years. Preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Shirley S. Young. Survived by his wife, Judidth; 4 daughters, Susanna and her husband, Bill, Peggy and her husband, Bill, Sherri and her husband, Bert and Donna Sue, all of Kettering; 1 son, Donald and his wife, Jennifer, of Centerville; 7 grandchildren, Tanya, Kristie, Kimberly, Chandell, Jamie, Daniel and Joseph; 3 sisters, Dorothy Stidham, Barbara Stidham, both of Kettering and Vivian Beatty of Springboro; also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 28th, in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. The family will greet friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, in the funeral home. Burial will be in Lower Miami Cemetery.
