age 78 of Kettering, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000. He was a WWII Navy veteran serving with the USS Relief in the South Pacific. Donald retired from GM-Frigidaire as National Service Manager in 1980. He was a member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church, The TOM Club, Dayton Lodge #147, AASR-Valley of Dayton, and Antioch Shrine. Preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis in 1987. Survived by daughter, Pamela (Larry) Ridings of Washington, Twp.; 3 sons, Christopher (Dorothy) of CA, Dr. Mark (Margery) of Oakwood, and Robin of Dayton; 6 grandchildren, Juliet (Ridings) Bailey, Nathan Ridings, Andrea and Emily Schaffer and Katherine and Laura Schaffer; 1 great grandson, Luke Bailey; 2 brothers, E.E. ''Bud'' and Wayne; 2 sisters, Gertrude Oder and Frances ''Mike'' Vandemark, all of Defiance, OH; and many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday in the Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 3705 Far Hills Ave., Kettering with Dr. Robert Wade officiating. Private burial at David's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7:00 P.M., Thursday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Scottish Rite services at 7:00 P.M.
