Williams, Donald F., age 88, of Huber Heights, OH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Donald was born on February 2, 1928 in Royal Oak, MI to the late John F. and Mabel (nee Mumma) Williams. He graduated from Fairview H.S. in 1946, served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired after many years as a designer at NCR. Donald loved to travel and went on many cruises with his wife, Tattie. They would also travel to MI every summer. Donald will be remembered for his wit and love of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Douglas and brothers, John Mac and Phillip. Donald was survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Kathryn "Tattie"; daughter, Diane of Columbus; sister, Marianne Cooley and many other family members and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Dayton, 111 W. Monument Ave., Dayton with a reception to follow at the church. Burial will be in Dayton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 111 W. Monument Ave., Dayton, OH 45402 or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420.
