Dora K. Manavis

MANAVIS, Dora K., age 83, of Oakwood, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014 at her home. Dora was born on May 4, 1930 in Greece to the late Evangelos and Zoe Kafousou. She was a seamstress for Rikes and D.H Peer for many years and attended Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Dora is survived by her husband of 53 years, Pete; children, Sam Manavis of Oakwood and Zoe (Gregory) Simopoulos; granddaughters, Sarah, Tia, Dori, and Sophia; grandson, Nicholas; and 4 sisters living in Greece. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 500 Belmonte Park North, Dayton, OH 45405. Family will greet friends one hour before the service. Burial will be held at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
