WOODLEY, Doris Ann “Dody”, age 82, of Centerville passed away Monday, June 14, 2004 in Centerville. Doris attended Western College for Women and Ohio State University. She was a member and past elder of Fairmont Presbyterian Church where she also taught vacation bible school. Doris raised, bred and showed Arabian horses, was an avid boater, loved to travel, and was a prolific artist. Doris was a member of DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and volunteered during WWII at Grosse Isle Naval Hospital as well as being a lifelong supporter of the Christian Childrens Fund. Doris is preceded in death by her sister, Jane Moench, brother, Charles Egelhoff Jr., and grandson, Joseph Upshaw. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ralph G. Woodley; 2 sons, James (Andrea) Woodley of Bozeman, MT and Gerald M. (Valerie) Woodley of Centerville; daughter, Jennifer Sue (E. Vincent) Santurbane of Petoskey, MI; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, and her cherished dog, Molly. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 18, 2004 at 12:00 noon at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with Dr. Robert Wade officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will greet friends Friday from 10:30-12:00 noon at the funeral home. In memory of Doris, contributions may be made to Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 3705 Far Hills Dayton, OH 45429.
