Doris House

HOUSE, Doris Beachler, age 90, a lifelong resident of Dayton, passed away March 28, 2006. Her husband, Virgil House, three brothers and two sisters preceded Doris in death. She is survived by her son, Forrest B. Johnson and his wife, Sherry; 2 grandchildren, Carol Ellis and her husband, Steve; Eric Johnson and his wife, Nancy; 2 great-grandsons, Timothy and Christopher Ellis of Brookville; a step-granddaughter, Patty House-Wilkens of Katy, TX, and special niece, Sue Barton Wilson of Graham, WA. Doris was a 1934 graduate of Roosevelt High School. She worked at Inland Manufacturing during WWII. Doris was a 10-year volunteer at the Miami Valley Hospital, an avid bingo player, she loved to travel and go to “the boat.” A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 11:00AM at the Woodland Mausoleum Chapel, 118 Woodland Ave., Dayton with Pastor John Carroll officiating. Her family will receive friends from 10:30-11:00AM at the mausoleum.
