Dorothe L. Bondi

BONDI, Dorothe "Dot" L., age 100, of Washington Township passed on Friday, February 8, 2013. Dorothe was born on August 23, 1912 in Tigerton, WI to the late Peter and Dora Zehren. She graduated from Nursing School in 1936 and practiced nursing until she was married. Dorothe was a charter member of St. Charles Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. orothe was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Phil Bondi. She is survived by her children, Ann Bondi and Philip (Vickie) Bondi of Washington Township; grandchildren, Tony (Nora) Bondi of Chicago and Josh (Nichole) Bondi of Columbus; and great-grandchildren, Hannah Grace and John Philip Bondi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Congregation of Holy Cross, P.O. Box 765, Notre Dame, IN 46556. The family would like to thank the staff from Kettering In Home Care for all their help.
