Dorothy Barnes Minzy

MINZY, Dorothy (nee Barnes) of Dayton passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2008, at Lincoln Park Manor. Dorothy was born February 9, 1915, to Paul and Anna Barnes of West Union, OH. Preceded in death by her husband William, brother and sister-in-law, Lucian and Audrey Barnes, sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Ruie Alcorn, brother, Wilson Barnes and by members of the Minzy family: Christian and Lillian Minzy, Helen Minzy, Rose Minzy, Freda and Edward Duckro, Agnes and Harold Seitz, Iva and Michael Powers. Survived by her daughter, Carol Minzy, and brother and sister-in-law, Wendell and Doris Barnes, and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, January 29, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 218 K. St., Dayton, with Father Dan Meyer officiating. Family will receive friends at the Church from 9:30 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to Children's Medical Center, One Children's Plaza, Dayton, Ohio 45404.
